SENTENCING AND NEW BOOK NEWS

As many readers in the Midlands UK, will have seen from their regional TV and news media, Anthony Spencer - Crime Consultant to 'Smuggling Vacation' and the new book 'Day of the Deal' was sentenced yesterday with eight others at Birmingham Crown Court on various drugs charges.

Glimpses and references to 'Smuggling Vacation' litter the TV news and press coverage and so it must be stated, that it was found after an investigation by SOCA into the book and it's author that both had no involvement in this conspiracy. The prosecuting Queens Council emphasised in court that they made 'absolutely no suggestion' of any irregularities concerning the author (Spencer's son) and their investigation had shown the book and author 'to be completely legal and genuine'.

Regular readers to the site are aware that Spencer, as well as being the Crime Consultant to both 'Smuggling Vacation' and 'Day of the Deal', is the father of Jason Wilson, creator of the aforementioned books. Behind the scenes the expected trial had thrown up many difficulties for the new book, both in it's being released and in terms of promotion whilst such a trial was ongoing.

Now with the trial complete, the new book 'Day of the Deal' is being prepared for print and will be available later this month.
