Beginnings...

With an upbringing that stumbled in and around the city of Coventry, Jason Wilson was removed from a criminal road when his "old man" was sentenced to 10 years for armed robbery. The family bankruptcy and divorce that followed provided the ideal conditions to follow an artistic path.

Five years later, with a handful of animated student films to his name, the teenage Jason found himself working as an in-between artist at Steven Spielberg's Amblimation, which triggered off several years in the UK animation industry; animating, storyboarding, directing and producing TV commercials and the like, as well as working on his own animated films with his own studio of artists. It was a small vibrant studio, that burned brightly for a few years in the mid 90s but for whom the future would be bleak.

The arrival of CGI would mark the demise of studios practising hand drawn animation, with many falling by the way. Many artists and studios adapted to these changing times, those who didn't, disappeared into obscurity.
