About Smuggling Vacation

This book is inspired by real life crime figures known by myself (Wilson) and my good friend “Smith”, an ex-career criminal and businessman of over 40 years experience.

I began writing and drawing this story in 2006 and during the year that followed every page was posted out to “Smith” who was serving time in a Spanish prison for murder and drug smuggling.

Over scores of letters he replied at length, drawing on his own knowledge and experience of modern crime. He adjusted, improved and added suggestions to the pages sent to him.

The result is a unique book, mixing fact and fiction like no other book could. Many of the characters have been based on real life criminals although the names have been changed to protect the guilty.

To date, it has only been read in full by selected inmates in a Spanish prison, until now that is. We are now able to put out this original version for the world to read and enjoy, uncensored by a publisher, and as originally conceived…
