About Book 1 - Smuggling Vacation
Jas began writing and drawing the tale of a young british couple who discover a ton of cannabis on a spanish beach and try to smuggle it home in 2006. Littered with a cast of smugglers, dealers and customs officers, Jas wanted it all to be totally believable, which meant applyng the appropiate research.
With his own father a notorious and prominent midland's criminal, Jas had an excellent source of information at his disposal, and, as he was serving time in Spain at that very moment for drug smuggling, he had time to spare and invest in what could be a most unusual book.
Although just a 'comic book', it could be much more than that. The story would have the modern criminal world as its back drop, without all the plastic gangster nonsense that had ruined many a previous media interpretation.
